Our Story

 

Ellinger's Agatized Wood Inc. began when the original owners, Walt and Hubert Ellinger, were on a trip to Germany and witnessed the production of wood kitchenware using compression molded natural wood powder and resin. The process resulted in durable, waterproof, lightweight, and dishwasher safe wood bowls and tablewares; suitable for both hot or cold foods.

Our wood kitchenware has a wide audience, ranging from the food service industry and restaurants, to the houseware industry.  Our beautiful bowls can be used as gift baskets, to be filled with treats and snacks, to fresh fruit and candy, up to everyday use in the kitchen and on your family table.

All products are made with FDA approved materials, they are BPA and BPS free, and they are certified by the NHMA (National Housewares Manufactures Association). The raw materials we use are of the highest quality and is all produced in the United States of America.
